Kopete fails to find the Motion Eye webcam in a Sony VAIO FZ21S. lsusb lists the camera as "Bus 006 Device 002: ID 05ca:183b Ricoh Co., Ltd" which is supported by the r5u870 driver and works fine with xawtv. The camera is available as /dev/video0, but the output of Kopete when going to Configure->Video is as follows:

I can confirm this on my setup too:
Motion Eye (Sony VAIO FE890 with r5u870 driver installed). Works fine with skype/motion/etc.
Tested on Kubuntu Hardy (kde 4.0), Kubuntu Gutsy (kde 4.0, kde 4.1, kde nightly (NEON) as of July 12, 2008)

Still present in 4.0.98.
