I tough a moment that i never had to use vlc but i guesed wrong in dragonplayer is no playlist.

So i like to see a play list in it.

I think it will never arrive, because is againt the basic rule of dragonplayer: 'make it simple'

Thats to bad but why would a function like that not able to be simple? Look dragonplayer is nice to watch anime wich updates only 1 time a week but i like to watch whol series in it.

So on the moment i wanna do that i need every time to open a file again thats not simple that at the end frustrating why just not put all those file in a play list.

I would also like to see this feature. I do agree about "make it simple" rule. But I don't see how a playlist feature break this rule. In fact it still would be simply but with added feature.

For the UI, the playlist doesn't need to be appear if the user only want play one file at the time. So as for the UI, it can be as simple as Media Player Classic playlist, only show when needed.

As for coding, I don't know if it difficult to implement and if it might break the "make it simple" rule.

I really like the fact that dragonplayer is well integrated with KDE4 and phonon.

I would second this feature. Even a simple playlist (or rather a play queue) would make it a lot easier to watch several episodes of a TV series in a row. The only features needed would be adding/removing and reordering the files in the queue.

One option to keep the basic UI a simple as possible would be to hide the play queue unless the user specifically opens it, or if several files are opened at once. Right now, if I open several video files, dragon player will start playing them simultaneously in different windows. I'd hardly call that 'just works'

I agree with the above, if you select more video files it will cause to open more dragonplayer windows, and thats not what a normall user would exspect.

Please note that we have an option coming to enable single instance behavior (i.e. only one dragon will over no matter how many files are opened), which addresses the problem with opening multiple files.
