Description Thomas Grauschopf 2008-06-18 18:26:52 UTC
Version: (using KDE 3.5.9)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

After dragging and dropping a mail on the calendar icon on the left sidebar, kontact creates a new appointment. Beforehand, a little dialog asks me whether I want to link the appointment to the mail or include the mail in the appointment.

When I link the newly created appointment to the mail, the attachments field shows an entry like "kmail:49154". By doubleclicking this entry, I can nicely open the referenced mail afterwards, even if I have moved it in some different folder.

What I'm lacking is a possibility to link an appointment to a mail after the creation of the appointment.

I can add attachments to existing appointments by pressing the green plus sign to the left of the attachments field. But this only works for files or URLs. For the latter attachment types there also exists support for drag and drop to the attachments field. Would be great if this would work for mails, too.
