Please, could you explain better the problem? Now, the transparency of plasmoids (when they are overlapping) is hardcoded, right? I would like (just an example) to turn it off -- so plasmoid in background would not be visible. why? 1) I would like to save space 2) I would like to see content of the widget, not some mixture of content and other borders uhm... that is really up to the theme, so, not anything we can fix in the code... You mean that every theme uses one, hardcoded transparency? If yes, it would be useful to be able to change it -- in one place. Otherwise themes would be monolith things -- you have to like everything. No other choice. In other words: themes should be configurable by user, transparency is a good start.
