configurable plasmoid transparency when overlapping

..to configure fully your own desktop.
Comment 1 FiNeX 2008-06-15 16:19:03 UTC
Please, could you explain better the problem?
Comment 2 Maciej Pilichowski 2008-06-15 16:27:13 UTC
Now, the transparency of plasmoids (when they are overlapping) is hardcoded, right? I would like (just an example) to turn it off -- so plasmoid in background would not be visible.
Comment 3 FiNeX 2008-06-15 16:52:57 UTC
why?
Comment 4 Maciej Pilichowski 2008-06-15 17:00:25 UTC
1) I would like to save space
2) I would like to see content of the widget, not some mixture of content and other borders
Comment 5 Riccardo Iaconelli 2008-06-15 18:59:49 UTC
uhm... that is really up to the theme, so, not anything we can fix in the code...
Comment 6 Maciej Pilichowski 2008-06-15 19:07:41 UTC
You mean that every theme uses one, hardcoded transparency?

If yes, it would be useful to be able to change it -- in one place.

Otherwise themes would be monolith things -- you have to like everything. No other choice.

In other words: themes should be configurable by user, transparency is a good start.
