The icon used for the system tray is simply scaled down and needs redrawing or at least retouching.

In my opinion the isometric projection used for the main icon is inappropriate for icons used in the system tray, which are mostly 2D.

I've never liked the current KAlarm icon (which is the same in oxygen and crystalsvg) - it looks to me too gimmicky and doesn't convey an image of KAlarm as a serious application. So I'd be all for a change. I'm reassigning the bug to the artists who I hope will fix it (and perhaps - please - create a new 3D KAlarm icon as well).

Seems this bug is now fixed, judging by the discussion on the mailing list..
