The kopete system tray icons are not the same as the status icons in the configuration dialog-->Status. Oxygen has these icons but kopete's set status icons seem to be of it's own.

Wouldn't it make sense to use the same ones as in $KDE4DIR/share/icons/default.kde4/22x22/status for the system tray?

SVN commit 819659 by nienhueser:

Autogenerate systray icon from the kopete icon in the theme instead of using the now outdated icons from KDE 3.5. Grayed for offline, overlays in the bottom right corner for invisible and away.
