This is not a bug and will be closed. Please send an email to kfm-devel@kde.org. I disagree, it is a bug, ".fr" is not in the list, while it has registration at second-level (such as "com.fr" or "tm.fr"). [I sent an email kfm-devel@kde.org but got only one reply, indicating <http://www.westpoint.ltd.uk/advisories/wp-04-0001.txt>] Reopening because the original report was probably not clear enough. The actual list is wrong and should be fixed. Besides, it is questionable to ship Konqueror with a hardwired list of TLD. That file is used by the cookiejar. At the time it was meant to address the issues in the specified advisory. However, it is mostly useless these days since the changes in how TLD names as registered. The cookiejar handler will have to be modified at some point in the future to reflect that. Message from the Bugsquad and Konqueror teams: This bug is closed as outdated, as we do not have the manpower to maintain the KDE3 version anymore. If you still can reproduce this issue with Konqueror 4.8.4 or later, please open a new report. Thank you for your understanding. |
