For folderview we have already the possibility to filter the filetypes we want to show. 
But i think it would be at least as useful to add a filter for filetypes we DON'T want to show. It would make the folderview more flexible and powerful.

interesting request; i don't think the filemanagers even have that. hum.

When adding a filter eg. *.txt
Files named *.txt~ are also shown. I also tested *.???, but this doesn't work.
