Version:           0.50.80 (using 4.00.80 (KDE 4.0.80 >= (KDE 4.1 Beta1), Debian packages)
Compiler:          cc

Even though I have disabled all notifications for kopete, I get passive popups each time I receive a message from a contact while the chat window is out of focus.

The "custom notifications" for each user are also all turned off. I only use the History plugin.

Does it work after restarting knotify4 (or KDE)?

Yes your suggestion is correct, restarting knotify4 fixes the problem.
