In Makefiles, literal tabs are syntax-significant. I normally have indent-with-spaces turned on, since that's standard for KDE and what I use in my own code, but it's very annoying when hand-editing Makefiles. Would it be possible to have Makefile mode override that setting so that a tab when editing a Makefile is a tab?
