For some time it is impossible to paste anything into the KMail composer using the middle mouse button.
Simply nothing happens, even if I explicitly select the text again in klipper.
Together with bug 162768 now pasting in kmail is almost impossible (only the paste button works corectly).

This is a bug in KRichTextEdit, I can confirm it with KRichTextEditor, but not with Konqueror (which uses plain KTextEdit).

Hmm, this seems to work in the current trunk version, please reopen if you can still reproduce.
