I am using KDE 3.5.9 not 3.9.5. Hello Graham, unfortunately, it is quite difficult to find out what is wrong without additional information from your side. Since your report is now over half a year old and both kde 3.5.10 and kde 4.2.2 are already out, could you please confirm that the problem still exists? If so, could you please tell us what the kmail error message states? About the exporting of emails: You should be able to import the emails from thunderbird, since kmail emails are stored either as mbox oder maildir, both of which are standard formats. You might need a plugin for thunderbird to do so, and you might need to locate your emails. I am not quite sure where they are in kmail 3.5.9, but you might want to look in ~/.kde/share/apps/kmail . Of course, I hope we can solve your problem and you will not need to change to thunderbird ;) Waiting for information Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this version of Kmail has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug. Please try using the latest version of Kmail to see if your issue persists. If it does, please submit a new bug in "kmail2". Thank you! |
