Description Gerke Kok 2008-05-30 23:00:02 UTC
Version: 1.0.4 (using 3.5.9, compiled sources)
Compiler:          Target: i586-manbo-linux-gnu
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.24.4-desktop586-3mnb

Purpose of my procedure is to create a .iso file on disk to burn later. The iso-file should be for an Audio CD.

These are the steps I took:
* Open k3b
* Select a Audio CD project
* Add a few audio files (1 wav & 1 mp3)
* Hit the burn button
* Select the options: 'Create image' & 'Only create image'
* Specify an empty existing directory on the 'Image'-tab for where to write the image file
* Hit the Start button

Expected result:
* A .iso file is create in the specified location

Actual result:
* A set of .wav files shows up in the specified location

Ripping an audio cd to an iso file does not work either.

because it is nonesense. No offense but you cannot create an iso from an audio CD. ISO(9660) is a file system. Audio CDs do not have file systems. They have audio tracks. These tracks are stored in the wav files.
So this is not a bug. It is a wish for a K3b image format which I already implemented but never integrated in K3b.
