same problem here on opensuse 11.0, KDE 4.0.85 Version 4.1.00 (KDE 4.0.99 (4.1 RC1+)) (KDEmod) I can reproduce this bug *** Bug 165943 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 169174 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** I can also reproduce this bug using: Version 4.1.62 (KDE 4.1.62 (KDE 4.2 >= 20080814)) kdelibs4.2 svn rev.849324 kdebase4.2 svn rev.849337 ArchLinux 2.6.25-zen2-20080814 i686 I reproduced this bug on Kubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex alpha 5, using KDE 4.1.1 Right now, my method of launching is through /usr/share/applications/kde4 Any suggestion for other good temporary solution? You can recreate the applications:/ structure as real folders and put applications links in there. I Know: It is a bad workaround. It seems to be fixed on both KDE 4.1.3 and KDE4.2svn.(applications kioslave show the apps installed) Can anyone else confirm this? It works for me too now. Yes, for me ist works in 4.1.3 too. Confirmed. Works in 4.1.3 and 4.1.80. |
