What do you mean with can't change font. Is there a koi8-r entry in the
options menu under set encoding or not?
In KMail 1.1.99 there are only those charsets listed you have a font
installed for. There were still some charset related problems in KMail
1.1.99 most of them are already fixed in CVS now but composing of koi8-r
mail did work.

(I mean in composer) Strange since that works for most people. Nothing is recoded but some question marks might disappear if you change it and you should be able to enter cyrillic characters then. > Some more information: > usually i work in windowmaker and run kmail only for my needs separately > from KDE. I currently don't have an idea what could be wrong sorry. If you are interested in KMail I would recommend to update the kdenetwork package from CVS. Most remaining charset problems are fixed there. Unfortunately snapshot generation is down at the moment therefore you need to use cvsup on anoncvs. Regards Michael Häckel |
