the text in tabs is a bit cut off, not only with oxygen but with keramik too
the font is Sans Serif 10

maybe you could try a smaller font size. I have this bug aswell.

I'm actually not quite sure if this is related, but this picture shows a dialog
seemingly having trouble to layout correctly, possibly due to the text's width
being determined incorrectly. This happens regardless of the font used (tried
Sans/Monospace).

This is how Cleanlooks renders the same dialog (works using Plastique as well).

yeah the problem is with kstyle, qtstyles like plastique works fine

I can only reproduce the cut-off text in tabs if "y" is the title's last letter
and if I don't set an icon for the tab. I can not reproduce the bug the
original reporter posted ("e" and "r" being cut off).

This is already fixed and will be in Qt 4.5. If you're lucky your distribution includes the small patch above (I know debian does).

I would say yes :) Its in qt's tracker.
