Open the Shutoff/Logoff via ctrl-alt-del or Kickoff. KDE will immediately crash and bring you back to KDM.

Exactly on which revision?
Could post the backtrace (if any) following instructions on:

The revision of kdelibs is 812284, I don't know the revision of kdebase. I'll have to recompile KDE with debugging info, which excecutable shall I attach gdb to when it's finished?

It doesn't crash anyomre, so it's probably fixed
