Description Betsy Alpert 2008-05-24 02:35:37 UTC
Version:            (using KDE 4.0.3)
Installed from:    Fedora RPMs
OS:                Linux

In System Settings > About Me > Password & User Account > Change Password, no matter what new password I enter (anything from 1 character to 20), I get an alert saying:

Your password has not been changed.
"BAD PASSWORD: it is WAY too short"

Tested on r812722, I've got another error message:
« Your password has not been changed. "No password supplied " »

Can anyone still reproduce this bug with a recent KDE version? (4.1.3 / 4.2beta2 / 4.2svn) ?  Thanks :)

Here using:

Qt: 4.4.3 + qt-copy-patches-889120
KDE: 4.1.86 (KDE 4.1.86 (KDE 4.2 >= 20081221))
kdelibs svn rev. 903451 / kdebase svn rev. 903451
on ArchLinux x86_64 - Kernel 2.6.27.10

I can't reproduce it
Comment 6 FiNeX 2008-12-31 10:50:09 UTC
Indeed. The bug has been fixed recently in trunk.
