Version:           0.1 (using 4.00.80 (KDE 4.0.80 >= (KDE 4.1 Beta1), compiled sources)
Compiler:          gcc
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.24-16-generic

In falling blocks games, I like to use the down arrow to drop blocks all the way down as far as they can go in one shot.

I don't see an option for that maneuver yet in kblocks.

yes, it is a nice addition for future versions, accepted.

It is now possible to drop the bock. The feature should arrive in KDE 4.3.

Thanks for adding the "drop all the way down" maneuver. It's good.

The only thing I would suggest is that when a block gets dropped all the way with one shot, it should be stuck there. That is, if I press down that means I am done with that block and I want to start moving the next block. The way it is now, I have to press down, then wait a beat for the block to be really settled.

Normally, if I want to move a block around on the ground floor, I will use the other maneuver (the move the block down just a bit key) and then move the block around once it is near the ground but not settled yet.

That's the way that other tetris-like games (gnometris and tetrinet for example) work.
