Version:           1.9.9 (using 3.5.9, Kubuntu (hardy) 4:3.5.9-0ubuntu7.1)
Compiler:          Target: x86_64-linux-gnu

When I change the dictionary in Settings->Spellchecking e.g. to english the automatic spellchecker still checks for german language although the manual checking works along the dictionary set.

This is fixed in the KDE4 version.
