Description Stefan Neufeind 2008-05-21 01:06:22 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.0.4)
Installed from: Fedora RPMs

- move a large file from here to there
- cancel during the move

Result:
- partial file left at the destination

I guess it would be more useful to people to not believe their files have been moved and leave them with a "broken" file. (As other filemanagers do ...)

In case you don't plan a chance for the general behaviour, I'd appreciate to at least get an option to copy/move "all or nothing". So in case I have a half-finished move and cancle inbetween, it would actually delete the half-moved file to assure that I know it's still in original location and that I don't confuse it with the "broken" (half-moved) file.

Solved in KIO : https://cgit.kde.org/kio.git/commit/?id=7a79f15314808b6977da2ab480686c769efb86a6

You should check for a KIO package >= 5.58.0
