Bug confirmed on 3.5.9. So is there a way to get KDEsu to forget the root password? Out of late night stupidity I forgot to uncheck the "Remember Password" option and now even though I don't want it to it is remembering my root password. Kdesu should provide the same behaviour as Konqueror+kwallet. There is no point in having several mechanism for the same thing. In other words -- please use kwallet and ask the user only at first entry of new user. *** Bug 163682 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 163639 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** somebody seems to have flipped the default, but the value is still not remembered. Thank you for the bug report. As this report hasn't seen any changes in 5 years or more, we ask if you can please confirm that the issue still persists. If this bug is no longer persisting or relevant please change the status to resolved. |
