I find it very irritating that the icons in the dolphin sidebar change their size by themselves. I'd prefer a fixed size set by the user (and a scrollbar and tooltips on hovering over the entry when icons and text don't fit into the user defined sidebar width and height).

I just ended up with very tiny icons in the sidebar because I had inserted a cd (with a long name) which was automatically added to the sidebar.

To disable the automatic resizing would be a plus for people with bad eyes who depend on large icons. At least there should be a configurable minimum size.

We introduced this dynamic resizing exactly to avoid such a setting. That said, the current behavior is suboptimal and should probably be tuned.

I have a few ideas in this regard so I'll work on that post-4.1.
