After having spoken to certain contacts on my MSN account for a while Kopete removes them from the buddy list (locally) without notice.

Pidgin shows these contacts, as do Adium under OS X. 

If a contact is removed it cannot be added again, for instance say contact X suddenly is gone and I try to "add contact": The add contact window goes away without any errors but the contact is still missing from the list (both when having online only and offline contacts showing).

After a contact has been removed it does not show up again if Kopete or the computer is rebooted, its 100% gone.

The last contact that vanished did so after changing their username to quite a large string, if it could help to know.

After having used Pidgin, Kopete lists removed contacts again =/

Has this bug happened again since your last comment, or is it fixed?

If it's still happening, can you come up with a series of steps that reproduce the bug? If so, that would be helpful.

It's not been happening since I upgraded to KDe 4.1 alpha/beta anyway :)
