Description Angelo Naselli 2008-04-27 22:34:20 UTC
Version: 0.1.5 (using KDE 3.5.9)
Installed from: Mandriva RPMs
OS: Linux

Description of problem:
Every time kipi plugins (in gwenview f.i.) are used, a new temp directory
called kipi-batchprocessimagesplugin-XXXX will be created in
~/tmp/kde-username; leaving the application empties the temp directory, but the
directory itself remains, and you'll end up with 20,30, 40... empty dirs.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
kipi-plugins-0.1.5-3mdv2008.1

How reproducible:
Every time

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open gwenview
2. Batch process a set of pictures with some kipi plugin
3. Close gwenview -
then replay steps 1,2,3...

hmm that is not only a batch process plugin issue, i can see printwizard and sendimages as well. The latter leaves the images inside the temporary directories...

Gilles can i postpone the answer to the kde code sprint, in which i will be able to have more time to fix and test?

BatchProcessImage is not maintained since a while and is obsolete now. It will
be removed with 5.0.0.

Use digiKam BQM instead...
