This might be better implemented as a terminal application which the output of other commands can be piped through. In fact - I think there are several applications like this in existence though I don't know of any which use Kate/KWrite's syntax highlighting descriptions. I think this is really beyond the responsibility of konsole or any terminal emulators. Konsole is supposed to display the contents as it is. |
