If I start Firefox from the KDE start menu, the startup notification continues to bounce even after the window has opened.

This issue was first reported at Redhat bugzilla (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=443219); by request, I'm posting it here too.

Turns out this was caused by how xulrunner was built in Fedora 9, see: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=445543
