Version:            (using KDE 3.5.9)
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs

A very long tooltip without line breaks runs of the edge of the screen so the end of the text cannot be read.

We either need to automatically wrap over-long tooltips or provide some sort of scrolling mechanism.

This also occurs in KDE 4 - or at least when using Preview Form in Qt Designer 4 in OpenSUSE 3 running KDE4 4.0.3 release 17.1

Fast forward to 2013, here is a screenshot from Fedora 17 with KDE Platform Version 4.9.5. A very long tooltip goes off screen.

Long notifications take about forth of screen width and height plus they have scrollbars

They do now in Plasma 5 and KF5 apps.
