I couldn't reproduce this with KDE4.0.x. But I see some weird Shortcut behaviour in trunk (upcoming KDE4.1). I am currently rebuilding everything from scratch, and will check whether a clean build also leads to these issues. I also have major problems with Kmix forgetting any and all key assignments. On install, none of my laptop media keys work, and when I assign mute/vol up/vol dn in Kmix, it works until I reboot/logout. Maybe this is an openSUSE problem. openSUSE 11 (release) Kmix Version 3.0 Using KDE 4.00.84 (KDE 4.0.84 (KDE 4.1 >= 20080625) "release 1.1" Hope that helps. I can confirm this. I am also using openSUSE 11 and KDE 4.00.84 (KDE 4.0.84 (KDE 4.1 >= 20080625) "release 1.1". The kglobalshortcuts is written when changing the Settings, but seems not to be ever read. When opening Shortcut-Settings again, the file is overwritten with the Standard-Values. Latest Update to 4.00.85 fixed this Bug for me! Everthing works just fine now with Shortcuts! |
