*** Bug 46694 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Perhaps it would be an idea to integrate these desktop files in the konqueror package, a "run as root", and "browse as root" service menu item found at kde-look.org: http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=11227 *** Bug 81208 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** If you are logged as normal user and want to run e.g. an application installer as root, right now you can help yourself by selecting "Open with"->"Other" from the RMB menu and then typing "kdesu" Yves is right, but most of users doesn't know what kdesu is. A service menu could be useful. This could be added even on the new KDE4. This could solve the old bug #5522 too. |
