This is just a small wish:

When I use some desktop effect, say by pressing Ctrl-F9 to start the kompose-like mode I can only return to the normal mode by pressing Esc or do some mouse action.

On Mac OS I found it very useful to enter the same key combination to leave the kompose mode again (additionally to Esc)

Why: Sometimes I only want to display the mode for a short look or I hit the keys by accident. It takes too much time to find the way to the escape key. But my fingers still hover on the previously pressed keys. It would just be easier and faster for me.

In short terms:

Start Kwin kompose mode via Ctrl+F9, close the mode via Esc OR Ctrl+F9.
