i got a Ricoh Caplio R5. When trying to read in the pictures (1.2 GB on camera) via USB into    /home/user/pictures directory (~15 GB free on /home partition) i get a message saying something like "out of disk space"  and the read-in window closes without further hints.

With digiKam for KDE4 and this commit :

Marcel has fixed behaviours during downloading and freespace availalble.

Can you try digiKam 0.10.0-beta7 and report again

For me this file is fixed with digiKam 0.10.0. Can you confirm ?
