Description Grósz Dániel 2008-04-05 22:40:57 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.0.3)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

There are small black strips at both ends of the panel, whichever plasma theme I use. (They do not appear with the default theme as it is black.)

In the screenshots I use the Aya theme. If the panel is vertical, the stripes are horizontal.
Comment 4 Herbert Graeber 2008-04-06 13:26:00 UTC
There is a similar problem with the default theme. There the stripes are not black but transparent. And there are thinner transparent stripes (one or two pixels wide) at the other two sides of the black area.

The panel is displayed correctly without compositing.

All machines are using NVIDIAs display driver.

I do not use compositing, nor a closed source video driver and the problem still occurs at me.

this is a Qt issue, not a plasma one. already reported upstream as well.
