Description rolf laugher 2008-04-05 22:37:16 UTC
Version: (using KDE 3.5.8)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

when configuring my freshly installed MFC7820N printer (drivers from brother hp) via the wizard, on the last wizard page the button next is displayed instead of the finish button. instead it shows the error message: "Unable to find the requested page."

the wizard was started like this: added MFC-Printer, changed settings: searched local subnet for printer, kdeprint found it, i then changed the driver, printed a test page (all on the wizards pages) then a summary is shown. the finish button's missing though.

i could spot the error on line 191 of kmwizard8.cpp ( http://www.englishbreakfastnetwork.org/apidocs/apidox-kde-3.5/kdelibs-apidocs/kdeprint/html/kmwizard_8cpp-source.html ).
here should be some checks to make sure the finish button is displayed on the last page, even it is not marked as the last.

a very frustrating bug for newcomers.

KDEPrint is obsolete, unmaintained and will never be revived. Closing all open bugs.
