Installed from:    Gentoo Packages
Compiler:          GCC 4.1.2 
OS:                Linux

This is with compositing disabled and on a dual screen setup. 

About every other time I remove the mouse pointer from an icon in the taskbar thus removing the application popup I get an artifact of the popup on the grey panel border as seen in the screenshot. This artifact disappears if I bring up the popup again by hovering the mouse on an application icon.

this is an x.org issue, not a plasma one. the x.org devs are aware of it (i've demoed these issues a couple times to them now =) so hopefully it will get fixed at some point. in any case, it's an upstream issue rather than a kde/plasm one.

Is there a bug filed at x.org that I can vote or comment on to help getting attention to it?
