Description andrew 2008-04-03 07:08:34 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.0.2)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

Now after having a working kde4 for sometime, I reloaded SuSE for some problems i screwed up with ATi, So now i have been in suse 10.3 and i Upgraded KDE4 to 4.0.3 and when i loged into kde4 and then back into kde3 all my fonts were crazy and i noted that nothing in kcontrol was changed with fonts, so what gives? i recreated my unix account and it fixed it but starting kde4 again causes the problem again.

You'll likely have better luck reporting this to SuSE directly. Stock kde does not really support such a configuration (having parallel-installed kde3/kde4 desktops and/or going back-n-forth between them), without careful modification.

https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=376835 bug now filed there. some setting of kde4 over writes kde3 settings, and deleting and restoring old kde3 doesnt fix it. Im gonna go recreate my account again =/
