Description 2008-04-02 05:36:06 UTC
Version: 1.9.9 (using 3.5.9, Mandriva Linux release 2008.0 (Official) for x86_64)
Compiler: Target: x86_64-mandriva-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.24.3-laptop-3mde

when attaching files in kmail, and this only happens when more than one files is selected, it needs 2 clicks so that the files get attached.
Seams that the filenames are first added into the Path field with first click, and only with the second click is that files are finally attached.

This doesnt happen when only one file is selected to be attached.

I don't understand this bug report.
Are you talking about the composer? If so, it uses the standard file selector dialog from kdelibs.

I also don't understand what is wrong, and what you mean by "second click".
Selecting files with the mouse puts those files into the "Location" field. Clicking the button "Attach" then attaches the files to the composer.
Did I miss anything here?

Selecting files should not put them into "Location" field, it should just attach them just like it happens when selecting just a single file.

So that is a normal behaviour when severall files are selected?

Selecting a singe file does not automatically attach it for me, I can not reproduce that.

Anyway, reassigning to kdelibs, as the file selector is there.

I don't see a bug here. How would you be able to enlarge your selection of files to attach if the dialog would close on the first click? You can use Ctrl+click or lasso selection to select multiple files.

Can you clarify what the bug is?
