In a lot of announces kde4 should have been a task-oriented desktop, actually (even if *we all know it* kde 4.0 is not kde4) it isn't, 4.0.66
No parts in the interface reflect this orientation.

this mockup shows a possible implementation of task-orientation in kde4,
actually the default menu is based on apps and docs more than tasks and the
whole de, too.

'kde is not task oriented' is not really a bug, and it's too vague to be discussed in bugzilla. Please send your proposal to a relevant mailing list (kde-usability probably) and discuss it there.
