Incoming messages are shown in the popup on top of active screensaver. I don't like it as it is a privacy issue. If I am away from my screen I don't want that other people can read incoming IM messages. So pls change it again to a way that the messages are not shown on top of the screensaver.

There has been a similar bug for KDE 3: #62239
As the bug is quite old I thought it is better to open a new one for KDE 4 instead of reopening the old one - if you don't think so, pls set this on duplicate ;-)

I can confirm this issue. I have similar troubles in ubuntu packages.
But this may be knotify or even screen saver issue. I have kmail3 notification also on top of screen saver, but I don't remember such issues with kde3.

Yes, i have this problem also in OpenSUSE KDE 4.1.96

This bug should not be marked as a wishlist but as a real bug and it is not in Kopete but the general notification code of KDE.

This bug is still present in KDE 4.2.0

Rather annoying bug.
