Description of problem: My laptop runing a cooker up to date, with kde3 I get
high resolution screen and 16bpp colours; when I start a session with kde4 the
desktop show low colour dep.


How reproducible:
Every time I star a session with kde 4

2. Login

this is not a plasma bug. see the linked mandriva BR. it's an x.org driver issue.
