Description Thomas K 2008-03-24 23:34:23 UTC
Version: 1.9.6 (enterprise 0.20070907.709405) (using 3.5.8, Kubuntu (gutsy) 4:3.5.8-0ubuntu3.3)
Compiler: Target: i486-linux-gnu
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.22-14-generic

When deleting an attachment from an IMAP server, the entire message seems to be downloaded, and then re-uploaded. I don't know if it is possible to do it another way, but it would be nice to delete the attachment on the server without transferring the whole thing.

A delete all attachments button would be another good thing.

Does this still happen with a recent kmail?
Comment 2 Thomas K 2010-01-17 17:58:18 UTC
As far as I can tell, it's doing the same thing in 1.12.4 (KDE 4.3.4).

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
