Hello!

Kopete 0.50.0 brought many new features though old were changed. Currently the appearing popups look ugly. Is it possible to change them back to 'bubble-style' or make them look like in Miranda (with additional plugins)?

In the most recent build (revision 811509) there is no bubble shown at all if someone writes me. What is the correct settings for that? Now I have:
in Behaviour -> General -> Message Handling:
activated: use message queue
in Behaviour -> Events -> Tray Flash & Bubble:
activated: flash system tray
activated: left mouse click opens message
activated: show bubble

shouldn't there be a bubble on a new incoming message?

Thomas, I doubt you're running a recent kopete version from trunk: "Tray Flash & Bubble" is now called "Notifications", "Flash system tray" is "Animate system tray icon" and "Show bubble" is gone. Please check the version you're running, and also check "Settings" => "Configure Notifications" which is where the new bubble (Knotify popups) can be configured. Make sure to restart knotify4 after making changes to Notifications in "Configure Notifications" (bug 162317).

Another thing: Please ensure the Notify plasmoid from playground is not active (in case you compiled it). Otherwise Knotify popups are automatically disabled.

Egor, reverting to the old bubble is not an option, but things are going to improve when the Notify plasmoid (or a similar applet/program) becomes stable.

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
