Description Philip Ashmore 2008-03-20 16:47:36 UTC
Version: 1.0.4 (using KDE 3.5.9)
Installed from: Fedora RPMs
OS: Linux

I reported this to Fedora - https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=438269
Description of problem:
Selecting "device/Set Read Speed..." menu brings up the CD speed dialog - set to 12.
My CD-ROM drive is rated for 24x operation, so I set it to 24.
I re-open the dialog and I see it has been reset to 12.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
k3b-1.0.4-5.fc8

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select the "device/Set Read Speed..." dialog to change the CD-ROM read speed.
2. Increase/decrease the read speed.

Actual Results:
The read speed doesn't change.

Expected Results:
The read speed should have changed.

Additional info:
I use a 1GHz PIII and the processor runs at 75% while ripping to Ogg/Vorbis.

In an attempt to clean up old bugs that are not valid for K3b 2.0 (=KDE SC 4.x port) anymore, this is now being marked as UNMAINTAINED.
If this bug is still valid for 2.0, please reopen it.
