Sentry Crash Report:

Description Marcus Better 2008-03-17 12:54:22 UTC
Version: 0.50.1 (using 4.0.2 (KDE 4.0.2), Debian packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.24-lg

Whenever a Jabber contact goes on-line, Kopete in some cases first shows a pop-up notification saying "NNN is now Away". The contact's icon in the contact list then blinks for some 10 seconds, and finally stops in the on-line state. At other times it shows the correct notification, seemingly at random.

Seems like the state of the contact takes some time to settle.

I am using a Jabber account (ejabberd server) and the contacts in question use Google Talk.

Can you still reproduce this bug with a recent KDE version? (4.1.3 / 4.2beta2 / 4.2svn) ? Thanks :)

Cannot reproduce, if you still see this bug in KDE 4.2 please reopen.
