Opening kontact3 caused konversation and kmix being put into the systray... Should I close the report? KDE3's KMix works just fine here. Is there a specific way to reproduce? I can't reproduce the bug anymore... I resisted after a reboot, so I filed it. But now it has gone. Good ;-) I just installed kdemod4 (Version 4.1.1 (KDE 4.1.0 (4.1 >= 20080722)) (KDEmod)) for Archlinux, which is an almost vanilla version of kde4.1, and I found this problem with konversation. The systray icon doesn't go to the kde4 system tray, but to a very small window that only contains konversation systray icon. The problem persists in KDE 4.1.2 Sometimes, like the 20% of the times, when I log in I see KDE3 applications (knetworkmanager, kgmailnotifier) sitting nicely on the system tray, but most of the times they aren't there. Kgmailnotifier just doesn't show up, and knetworkmanager shows up in a decorated window. I can't reproduce the error, it just shows up randomly when I log in most of the times. |
