Description Mike 2008-03-15 16:26:42 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.0.2)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

The problem is that when I have many icons on my desktop, they overlap by default and it's not that easy to move them arround. This also happens when you use align to grid. The problem is that allign leaves too much space between icons. Couldn't be possible to leave less space between icons? Or better, automaticly resize all icons when alligning in order to fit them all on the desktop.

Another thing that I wish for is that when I zoom out the desktop, couldn't be possible to leave the image unscalled ( as it is, as a wallpaper, an not to resize it).
Thanx for reading and Thank you for youre great work.

Hm, there are two problems. Please split the second part (picture) in a new case. I think, the problem is, because the new icons need a lot of more space (should be possible to switch this behavior off).
An automaticly new resizing isn't possibly now, because I think that this behavior isn't wished by most of the people.

With 4.1 just around the corner, it's time to close off 4.0 bugs. ~/Desktop icons on the have been replaced with the folder view applet in 4.1 so this bug is no longer relevant.
