Description Jan-Marek Glogowski 2008-03-09 14:22:47 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.0.2)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux

When icons are aligned vertically or horizontally via the kdesktop menu, their plasma border isn't always moved, which is visible, if the mouse hovers over them. If the icon is hovered over a second time its position is fixed. This doesn't happen always, and it just happens with some of the icons.

To reproduce:
* align the icons in any direction
* hover over a moved icon => the plasma frame is at the old position
* hover over the icon again => frame position is fixed

Which version of sources are you using? I believe this has been fixed in trunk and backported to 4.0.2.

I just installed 4.0.3 from ubuntu packages. I observe the same behaviour (doesn't happen always, just happens with some of the icons). I am confirming this bug.

Confirmed on Ubuntu packages 4.0.3 also. It only appears to happen the first time that align icons is used... after this the frames are positioned correctly.

I played also with making icons bigger (scale) and move them and it seems to be happen here also (Opensuse 10.3 with KDE 4.0.3 and Qt 4.3.4).
