Hello,
My idea is also a question : will KDE 4 be able to change status of Kopete, Konversation... when I lock the session, when an apply is full-screen, when the laptop is "closed", ... ?
I'd like to create personal status for these cases.

The operation would be as follows :
Solid detects the "locking" (or Phonon knows if an apply is full-scren) and Decibel applies it.

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
