KGet could pass information on to Nepomuk. I'm thinking very simple things at first, like the description & publisher information from a Metalink. I'm sure once this is possible, people could do some really cool things.

fields to some ontology fields we can use in nepomuk. Then saving the data is
no problem.

From a developers point of view (KGet) the implementation should be quite
simple. All you need to do is create an instance of Nepomuk::Resource and set
properties. The only problem is: which properties. IMHO we should try to
reuse properties from XESAM or the Nepomuk ontologies (both are not final yet
AFAIK). But we can see about that once we agree that it should be done."

I agree. 
It would be nice to have stored in nepomuk, for example, that one file was downloaded last week from http://kde.org, for example. 

This way it could be easier for the user for example go back to the website that provided that file to get more information.

This should be already done in latest KGet...
