Version:            (using KDE 4.0.1)
Installed from:    Mandriva RPMs

hi, my installation of kde4 was ok. i set an image as desktop background but i deleted it. since then, when i open the dialog to change the background plasma crashes. can you tell me also in which file is stored the path of the desktop background?

A backtrace with the above lines is useless. Please install the debuginfo 
packages provided by your distro or compile KDE with debug enabled.
